Banyan Global cordially invites you to an evidence, learning, and connecting experience focused on the intersection of women’s economic empowerment and social norms. The event will take place in-person on Wednesday, November 7, 2023, from 1:00-3:00 pm EST at Banyan Global's headquarters with online streaming available. The event will include a presentation on the landscape of evidence related to existing approaches that governments, private sector entities, and civil society organizations are using to shift social norms and increase women’s economic power and gender equality. The presentation will be followed by two moderated panel discussions featuring Banyan Global, Equimundo, and MAGENTA that will speak to practical applications, results, and learning in implementing social norm change activities related to household methodologies, male engagement, group-based collective action, gender analyses, and social norms diagnostics.
