Virtual Roundtable: Women's Economic Empowerment in the Time of COVID-19
The Women’s Economic Empowerment Working Group and FinEquity are delighted to host a 90-minute virtual roundtable discussion on COVID-19 and women’s economic empowerment, with a focus on employment and entrepreneurship.
The discussion will explore the impact of COVID-19 in these areas of women’s economic empowerment and how projects and organizations are responding to these challenges in practical ways. The virtual roundtable will serve as an opportunity for members to share actionable insights that can inform the work of others in this space.
Call for contributions
We want to hear from you about how you are adapting your projects, approaches, and tools in response to the COVID-19 crisis and what you are seeing as emerging lessons-learned and good practices. To ensure a vibrant and highly interactive discussion, we ask that participants interested in sharing insights outline resources and insights they plan to share during the virtual roundtable when signing up. Based on the information you provide, moderators will invite specific participants to share their insights on particular topics during the discussion. If you would prefer to simply listen to the discussion, simply register and tune in.
