Integrating Child Savings Accounts in the Care and Support of Orphaned and Vulnerable Children in sub-Saharan Africa: Theory and Lessons from the Field
This presentation, given at the "Is money enough to improve children's well-being? New evidence from Burundi and Uganda" event, presents findings of projects in Uganda, exploring new approaches in caring for orphaned and vulnerable children, and testing the proposition that assets have psychological and socio-economic benefits for individuals and families.
