Supported by USAID’s Fostering Agriculture Competitiveness Employing Information Communication Technologies (FACET) project under the FIELD-Support LWA, this profile discusses Digital Green, an India-based NGO working in the areas of livelihood and microfinance development in six Indian states. Through their partnership with FACET, Digital Green seeks to disseminate targeted agricultural information to small and marginal farmers in India using digital video. Digital Green was developed by Microsoft Research India’s Technology for Emerging Markets team and is supported in the field by the GREEN Foundation.

The FACET project aims to help USAID missions and their implementing partners in sub-Saharan Africa use information and communications technology in sustainable and scalable approaches to improve the impact of their agriculture-related development projects.
