Global Food Security Response: West Africa Value Chain Analysis Protocol

As part of the USAID Global Food Security Response (GFSR), the Africa Bureau with EGAT assistance plans to conduct a set of multi-layered comprehensive studies aimed at improving food security and raising rural incomes in West Africa. The studies seek to identify the most effective interventions to promote these goals that can be undertaken by USAID, in collaboration with other donors, host governments and private-sector actors. This protocol will build on and incorporate various approaches to sector development and will include USAID's value chain approach.
