Beatrice Kinyanjui presented, "Early Lessons Targeting Vulnerable Populations with a Value Chain Approach." The seminar was the 38th installment of the Linking Small Firms to Competitiveness Strategies Breakfast Seminar Series sponsored by the USAID Microenterprise Development office. Ms. Kinyanjui's presentation highlighted four initiatives in which a targeted value chain approach has been used to assist vulnerable populations: the Community-Based Orphan Child Protection and Empowerment (COPE) Project, the Value Girls Program, a value chain analysis in Ethiopia, and the Stability, Peace, and Reconciliation (SPRING) Project.
