Climate change activities, interventions, and programming are deeply interconnected with the funding sources, mechanisms, and partnerships necessary for implementation. The role of private sector actors in climate finance (CF) is becoming increasingly relevant in climate change work. As a result, private sector engagement (PSE) presents an area of increased interest among researchers, development practitioners, and donors. This report explores the evidence of how private-sector actors collaborate with public-sector actors and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to advance CF activities, interventions, and programming that support climate change initiatives.
