This paper describes the Cluster Competitiveness Group's methodology for working with cluster agents in order to improve their competitiveness so that they can make more money over the long term. The Cluster Competitiveness Group has standardized the combination of analysis and change management in order to ensure that lessons learned can be assimilated by local teams working on new cluster initiatives elsewhere in the world, in very different socio-economic environments and a wide array of sectors. This study draws from their experience in Spain, France, Chile, and Brazil working in clusters as diverse as info-mobility, health services, shoe manufacturing, avocados and tourism.
