Transforming Inter-Firm Relationships to Increase Competitiveness

USAID’s value chain approach emphasizes the role of inter-firm relationships in achieving and sustaining competitiveness. This briefing paper provides guidelines for USAID missions and practitioners for analyzing these relationships and intervening successfully in relationships to improve competitiveness and the benefits that small enterprises are able to capture.
