Diaspora Philanthropy: Private Giving and Public Policy (Presentation)
The speakers featured during the December 15, 2011 Diaspora Engagement Seminar #6 were Kathleen Newland (MPI), Yulya Spantchak (Hudson Institute), Danial Noorani (The Citizens Foundation USA), and Danny Pins (The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee). The seminar explored philanthropy from diaspora communities, its relation to global trends in giving and the increasing role it plays in development.
