Invitation featuring speakers and webinar summary

Good Regulatory Practices include making information accessible and consulting with the public, including small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs), concerning pending regulatory changes. Conducting regulatory analysis using evidence-based approaches and government-wide coordination results in an improved regulatory system, which protects the public and promotes inclusive economic growth.

The Trade and Competitiveness Activity (TCA), a program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will host the webinar: “Good Regulatory Practices and Creative Regulation for Entrepreneurship,” in partnership with the Port of San Diego’s Blue Economy Incubator, which assists in the creation, early development, and scaling of sustainable aquaculture and Port-related blue technology ventures. During this session, speakers will discuss new opportunities and challenges in regulatory accountability, as well as engage the audience to explore ways to promote new concepts to eliminate barriers to SME trade and investment while enhancing innovation and internationalization.

This event is aimed to promote thoughts, ideas and partnerships among host governments, donors, implementing partners, academia, and the broader development community. We look forward to hosting Bryan O'Byrne, the Sr. International Trade Advisor at USAID and David Yow, Legislative Policy Administrator of the Port of San Diego. Please save the date for June 23, 2022 9:00 EST. Join us in this discussion, open to the public. Contact gfalk@resonanceglobal.com with any questions.
