The USAID-funded Trade and Competitiveness Activity is pleased to announce the first session of the USAID Center for Economics and Market Development’s summer 2022 Webinar series! This series promotes discussion about the challenges and opportunities of the digital economy and represents a great opportunity for international development partners, private sector leaders, and other thought leaders to discuss the pressing issue of promoting economic development in a post-COVID world. Our first webinar, Standards, Trade, and Innovation, will explore ways to use standards as mechanisms to promote growth, employment and integrated global supply chains in key industries and will be co-hosted by M Daniel Vazquez from USAID and Leslie McDermott from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). We look forward to hosting Dr. Vatsal Bhatt of Urbanable Greenovations, LLC., Sandra Ligia Gonzalez of the Inter-American Coalition for Regulatory Compliance, and Christopher Lindsay of the IAPMO Group.
International development professionals, industry experts, and government regulators will gain insights into how standards can support policies and programs for economics recovery. Join us in this discussion, open to the public.
