Ask a Question About This Event

Systems change is an exciting, yet daunting challenge as we seek to move from short-term, donor-funded projects to more sustainable, scaled outcomes for youth supported by country systems and markets. Members of the Youth Systems Collaborative (YSC), a community of practice of international development organizations, will share their Youth Systems Framework, which was designed from a review of domestic U.S.  and international experience in youth programming through a comprehensive community change paradigm over the past 40 years. The YSC and its partners will share their experiences applying the framework to diverse development challenges affecting youth, such as workforce development and violence prevention, and invite session participants to reflect on its applicability to other youth-related systems change opportunities. This session coincides with the recent publication of “Building Youth Infrastructure: Early Lessons from the Youth Systems Collaborative” in the Journal of Youth Development, available here

Registration will close at 4:00 PM on Monday, October 18th. Meeting details will be sent to all registered participants shortly thereafter.

This virtual event will take place from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM ET on Tuesday, October 19th. After 8:30 AM ET on Tuesday, October 19th, SID-W staff will be managing the event and may be unable to respond to last minute registration requests.
