7th Sustainable Coconut Roundtable “Advancing Resilient and Sustainable Coconut Supply in Southeast Asia”

USAID Green Invest Asia, GIZ, and Sustainable Coconut Steering Committee (SCSC) will convene the 7th Sustainable Coconut Roundtable in-person in Makati City, Philippines, with the theme “Advancing Resilient and Sustainable Coconut Supply in Southeast Asia.” The roundtable, to be held on the sidelines of a Philippine Coconut Alliance meeting, convenes stakeholders actively involved in coconut supply chains with shared interests in sourcing and capturing investment opportunities in sustainable coconut and coconut oil value chains. The event includes plenary and group discussions, working group meetings, and networking opportunities. There will be updates on the formalization of the sustainable coconut roundtable platform and Public Private Partnerships, a pre-competitive collaboration among multinational corporations and GIZ, followed by panel discussions on advancing coconut sustainability in the Philippines as well as farmer perspectives on intercropping, diversification, and regenerative practices. A more detailed agenda will be released closer to the event date.
