MFC Interviews 2011: Key takeaways from Marco de Natale of BlueOrchard

Marco de Natale of BlueOrchard enjoyed the opening panel on the impact of microfinance at the MFC Annual Conference.

Marco is Senior Investment Analyst & Hedge Manager at BlueOrchard. Before joining BlueOrchard in December 2009, Marco worked for Barclays Capital in London, where he was responsible for the structuring and sales of Commodities to Southern European institutional investors. Prior to this, he worked at Credit Suisse First Boston in London in charge of FX Sales to Southern European clients, and before this he held various roles at Merrill Lynch in London, in FX Sales, Structuring & Trading and in Debt Capital Markets Origination. Marco attended the 2009 Boulder Microfinance Training Programme, and the 2009 Microbanking Summer Academy at the Frankfurt School of Finance. He received his BA in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University in Milan, and has a MS in Engineering-Economic Systems & Operations Research from the Stanford University School of Engineering, in Palo Alto (USA). An Italian national, he is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
