Global Youth Economic Opportunities Summit — Call for Proposals
Breakout and training sessions at the Annual Global Youth Economic Opportunities Summit are selected through a competitive and open Call for Proposals process. Submit your session proposal by April 6 to be considered for a spot in the 2018 Summit agenda.
The Summit convenes 550+ leading experts and innovators from more than 55 countries working to advance economic opportunities for young people. Presenting at the Summit offers a unique opportunity to gain visibility and highlight expertise, expand your professional network, and deepen your learning through connection and collaboration with Summit stakeholders.
We invite you to present at the 2018 Summit by submitting a breakout session proposal that responds to the 2018 Summit theme and technical tracks.
The 2018 GYEO Summit theme is Generation 2030: Learning and Earning in a Changing World of Work. The theme will build on last year's focus on the future of work for youth in developing contexts, and move from understanding broad trends to a deeper examination of critical issues impacting young people's social and economic inclusion in a changing world of work.
We will explore topics such as: behavioral skills and holistic programming; future skills and bridging the digital divide; emerging industries for youth economic opportunity; talent acquisition and work-based learning; self-employment in the growing gig economy; youth entrepreneurship in a changing world of work; youth economic opportunity in rural economies and agriculture, and more.
Recognizing the critical importance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for young people, we will also link this year's agenda to Goals 4,5,8, and 17, and explore how our collective efforts can help us meet these targets by 2030.
