A good knowledge management (KM) system is critical to successful market facilitation in development projects. This tool outlines a framework for knowledge management, the implications for monitoring and evaluation, and a compiled list of proven do's and don'ts taken from observations from the field and best practice in complementary knowledge-based industries. This is intended to help development implementers improve the effectiveness of projects by better managing complex information flows.
