Assessing the Impact of the Kenya BDS and the Horticulture Development Center Projects in the Treefruit Subsector of Kenya: Baseline Research Design
The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of two USAID/Kenya projects in:
- improving the competitiveness of the mango, passion fruit, and avocado sub-sectors;
- increasing the integration of micro and small enterprises (farmers and others) into value chains;
- developing "commercially viable solutions" to constraints facing businesses in the targeted industries; and
- increasing rural household incomes.
