2012 SEEP Conference Presentation: From Microfinance to Inclusive Market Development

In a special session at the 2012 SEEP Annual Conference, Director of USAID's Office of Microenterprise and Private Enterprise Promotion (MPEP) Shari Berenbach took the opportunity to discuss her Office's vision for inclusive market development. In a video from the session, Berenbach explains how the Office's work in inclusive markets is being integrated across USAID, especially with respect to the Feed the Future initiative, and discusses future plans for MPEP. Some of Berenbach's updates include information on Microenterprise Results Reporting (MRR), Poverty Assessment Tools (PAT), and the Progress out of Poverty Index (PPI). She also briefly touches on Office leadership changes on the horizon for MPEP.
